David J. Shimmon brings over 19 years of semiconductor industry experience to his role as CEO of Ichor Systems and Mega Fluid Systems. He is continuously seeking to advance the company’s leadership by focusing on critical growth opportunities and industry partnerships, with an emphasis on increasing market share and expanding the company’s portfolio of innovative products and services solutions. Prior to his current role, he served as board advisor to Celerity, Inc., and was Celerity’s chairman and CEO from July 1996 through August 2006.

Mr. Shimmon became involved in the semiconductor industry in 1990 when he led Kinetics Holdings from a small regional concern to a leading dollar provider of high-purity products. Through organic growth and a series of acquisitions, he expanded the company and oversaw the formation of Celerity in 1997. In 1997, he led the sale of Celerity/Kinetics to United States Filter Corporation – a Fortune 500 company – and served as president and chief operating officer of US Filter. Subsequently, he co-led the sale of US Filter to Vivendi S.A.

Mr. Shimmon maintains close contacts and has key alliances with leaders and innovators in technology, education, and government communities. In recent years, Mr. Shimmon has increased his involvement in issues related to growth, infrastructure and development policies impacting Silicon Valley. He is a board member of both the Silicon Valley Leadership Group and The Tech Museum in San Jose, California.

Mark Hutson
PRESIDENT & CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
 

Mark Hutson brings over 25 years of operations and supply chain management experience to his current position as President & COO of Ichor Systems, Inc.  Prior to his current role, Mr. Hutson has held a variety of executive positions at Celerity including Vice President of Global Operations, Vice President of Supply Chain and Vice President of Ireland operations.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Hutson has held a variety of executive positions at Celerity over the last several years, including Vice President of Operations of the Austin operations from 2005 through 2007, where he was responsible for complete P&L of the business unit and for all day-to-day activity and operational performance. From 2004 through 2005, Mr. Hutson worked as Vice President of Supply Chain, where he was responsible for all supplier contracts and programs as well as maintaining the strategic alignment with supply chain for the entire enterprise, sourcing and creating vendor managed programs for approximately $100M of spend in materials. In 2003, Mr. Hutson started his career at Celerity as Vice President of Ireland operations, where he was responsible for transitioning the merger of two manufacturing sites into a single business unit, P&L responsibilities, operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Mike Rath
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
 

Mike Rath brings over 21 years of progressive financial management experience as Ichor Systems CFO. He is responsible for Ichor’s global financial operations, treasury, IT and administration functions, and leads Ichor’s comprehensive cost-control and efficiency initiatives.

Prior to joining Ichor, Mr. Rath held various financial leadership positions, including CFO for the Industrial Hydraulic Tools division of Stanley Works (NYSE: SWK) for 3 years, where he was instrumental in the acquisition of CRC Evans. Previously, Mr. Rath held various Finance and FP&A Management roles at GE Security (NYSE: GE), after its $1 billion acquisition of security company Interlogix (NASDAQ: ILXI) in 2002, where Mr. Rath was VP of Finance.

In his nearly 15 years as a financial executive, Mr. Rath has gained competitive and valuable manufacturing and financial management expertise, focused on data driven continuous improvement activities across multiple functions, and successfully led acquisition and integration processes on several transactions. He began his career in public accounting at Maginnis & Carey, where he was focused on regional audit, tax and financial reporting engagements for small to midsized companies.

Phil R. Barros
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT - ENGINEERING
 

Philip R. Barros brings over 11 years of product development experience in the semiconductor industry to his current role as Vice President of Engineering at Ichor Systems. At Ichor, Mr. Barros oversees all engineering functions and plays a vital role in Ichor’s new business development and overall growth strategies within core and adjacent markets.

Prior to joining Ichor in 2009, Mr. Barros held a variety of executive and management positions at Celerity from 2004-2009, including Vice President of Systems Engineering where he was responsible for engineering and product development for the systems and integration division, including the gas and liquid delivery, and Mega (chemical and slurry equipment) product lines. Previously, he led engineering and development for Celerity’s gas sub-systems for both the Instrumentation and Integration divisions of Celerity.

Prior to joining Celerity, Mr. Barros worked at Applied Materials for five years, where he led the development of the NexGen gas system for the Etch division. The innovations that were created during this program changed the paradigms for gas delivery in the semiconductor industry and are now used as the standards for the industry. He holds several granted and pending patents related to gas and chemical delivery systems and their use in semiconductor manufacturing.

Kim McGuire
VICE PRESIDENT - GM OF PORTLAND OPERATIONS
 

Kim McGuire has over 25 years of Operations, Quality and NPI experience in High Tech Manufacturing environments. He is currently the Vice President of NPI and Product Transitions.  Prior to his current role, Kim had been responsible for leading our Portland Manufacturing Operation since 2007.  His responsibilities included managing operations metrics and the full P&L for the Portland site.

Prior to Ichor, Mr. McGuire worked at Credence as the Vice President of Operations and served as Director of Operations at Compaq Computers from 1993 through 2002.

Geoff Chriswisser
VICE PRESIDENT - GM OF AUSTIN OPERATIONS
 

Geoff Chriswisser is responsible for managing plant operations at Ichor’s Austin, Texas plant. During his 16 year tenure with Ichor, Mr. Chriswisser has held multiple roles, including Director of Materials, Engineering Manager, Sales/Technical Manager and Planning/PM Manager.

David Savage

Prior to joining the Company, David Savage was President and Chief Operating Officer of Ultra Clean Technologies. Mr. Savage has over 20 years of executive experience driving operational excellence and profitable growth in international, high technology companies by leveraging and enhancing core competencies and expanding market presence.

Before joining UCTT, he was CEO of Litel Instruments, Inc., a semiconductor optical metrology business. Prior to Litel, he was the President, Electronics Division of Meggitt USA, Inc. where he led a division focusing on high performance sensors. Prior to Meggitt, he was the CEO at DigMedia, a media delivery business focused on broadband service providers.

Mark A. Thomas
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT - SALES & MARKETING
 

Mark Thomas serves as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Ichor, and is also leading the Company’s efforts to increase presence in adjacent markets.

Mr. Thomas has spent the last 16 years with Ichor and its predecessors, developing and selling gas and chemical delivery modules to the semiconductor equipment suppliers and IC manufacturers. Mr. Thomas has established strong relationships and credibility throughout the Company’s customer base, and has been vital to the development and advancement of its products, strategies and brand strength.

Prior to Ichor Systems in 2009, Mr. Thomas held a number of executive positions with the Company’s predecessors, most recently serving as Vice President of Account Management supporting Lam Research. In this role, he successfully implemented strategies to significantly grow revenues and expand the Company’s product and service offering to the customer. Prior positions included Vice President of Product Management, Vice President of Account Management, and divisional General Manager. In these positions, Mr. Thomas created market strategies and led formative change of the Company’s capabilities, offerings and market share.

In 1999, Mr. Thomas was instrumental in the Company’s initial gas module outsourcing initiative with Applied Materials, and has continuously remained at the forefront of the Company’s evolution, leading developments that established the Company as a successful supplier of gas delivery products.

Mark Watkins
Senior Vice President - Corporate Development
 

Mark has been with Ichor and its predecessor companies for over 10 years and has held a variety of roles and responsibilities during his tenure.   Since 2008, Mark has led corporate development activities, including acquisition-related due diligence, post-acquisition integration, and facility optimization – while also acting as President of one of Ichor’s divisions from 2009 - 2011.  Before 2008, Mark was the general manager of the company’s thermal products division (Marchi), which designed and manufactured precision thermal control systems and instruments.

 Prior to Ichor, Mark was a strategy consultant at the internet startup / services firm Zefer.  Before Zefer, Mark spent seven years in the U.S. Navy, serving in the Pentagon and also on the fast attack submarine USS Parche.  Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from Georgia Tech.
